Maria Silvia Vaccarezza is Associate Professor of Moral Philosophy at the University of Genova, Italy, and secretary of Aretai – Center on Virtues. She is author of several monographs, journal articles and book chapters on a number of topics, including: Iris Murdoch; Aristotle’s ethics; the role of phronesis; the unity of the virtues; moral exemplarity and admiration for exemplars; virtue, duty, and supererogation; virtues in media; philosophy of emotions; and philosophy of education. She has edited Practical Wisdom: Philosophical and Psychological Perspectives, Routledge, New York 2021 (with M. De Caro), and Virtues, Democracy, and Online Media: Ethical and Epistemic Issues, Routledge, New York 2021 (with N. Snow).
