Matteo Cresti earned his doctorate in philosophy, with a thesis in metaethics on moral argumentation. He has worked at the Department of Informatics at the University of Turin on the ethical implications of telemedicine, and has taught Bioethics at the Department of Life Sciences and Systems Biology at the same university. Since 2022, he has been a researcher (RTD-A) in Moral Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy and Educational Sciences of the University of Turin on a PON project on the well-being of the population in rural and remote areas. Her research topics include metaethics (argumentation theory), bioethics (issues of gender and sexuality; sports; informed consent and minors of age; bioethical implications of Artificial Intelligence), and environmental ethics (issues concerning agricultural practice and rural identities).
