Veronica Moretti

Veronica Moretti is an Associate Professor and the Coordinator of the Sociology degree program at the University of Bologna. She is a member of the Bioethics Committee of the University of Bologna and serves as Vice-Coordinator of the Research Network Sociology of Risk and Uncertainty (European Sociological Association) and the European Society for Health and Medical Sociology Association.

She is also one of the founders and Vice-President of the cultural association Graphic Medicine Italia. Recently, she published Understanding Comics-Based Research with Emerald, as well as numerous publications on health and digital issues. Together with other colleagues, she published the graphic novel Il Primo Paziente with Tunué and launched the Graphic Anatomy series, published by BeccoGiallo. The first title in the series, Pancreas. Biografia a fumetti di un organo ("Pancreas. A Comic Biography of an Organ"), has already been released.
