Brief info
Elena Casetta teaches at the Department of Philosophy and Education Science at the University of Turin where she is a member of the Labont Center for Ontology. After studying theoretical philosophy and analytical metaphysics, she specialised in the philosophy of biology at the IHPST (Institut d’Histoire et de Philosophie des Sciences et des Techniques) in Paris and at the Centre for Philosophy of Science at the University of Lisbon. Her work focuses on environmental philosophy and the philosophy of biology. Her most recent book is Filosofia dell'ambiente, Bologna, Il Mulino, 2023, with an updated English translation currently underway for publication with Routledge.
